We’ve now made it easier than ever to override marks that were assigned automatically. You may have noticed a misconfiguration of the original question, or realised the answer submitted is actually worth a different score than was auto assigned. Now you can override the auto score and assign a manual one. The original auto-score value will remain for reference.

We’ve also allowed for more flexible negative marking. Previously negative marking was only possible via auto-scored questions. Now, when you’re marking an exam you can choose to give points less than 0 if required.
